My views on our unavoidable evolution.
Geno Cause and Effect
As we all know there are currently massive breakthroughs in the fields of Geno treatments, with illustrated proof of intelligence and other enhancements in mice and so forth. These treatments although performed on animals right now will eventually make its way into the mainstream society, primarily in the black-market to the very rich. Further down the line we will see these treatments being altered to make them more affordable to mainstream society with potentially dramatic effects as I will attempt to explain below.
Have it
Although it may be difficult for many to accept right now, we as humans will eventually be able to purchase geno treatments to enhance or cure just about anything we can imagine within ourselves. Be that intelligence, 20/20 vision, super hearing or even more dramatic animal attributes such as speed, breathing, smell and even characteristics of animal body parts and more. Many of you may at this moment be thinking all this is totally absurd, but with a bit of common sense you will see that the potential with geno treatments, anything is possible. Whether you accept it or not, it will happen and someday you will have to choose.
You have it…….but at what cost
Here is where things will get very, very confusing and interesting, where the subtle formation of new humanoid races on earth will begin as a direct result of natural DNA disruptions effecting behaviour and logical thinking of the human. A direct result of downgraded or altered geno treatments on the black market will mean that there will certainly be some unforeseen side effects from these un-pure treatments which will be readily available to the masses. We will see more and more people with visible effects, perhaps such as additional growths on the body in many forms and shapes, altered facial features and so forth. Although these individuals may possess some of the attributes they intended to gain, they will feel alienated from what was previously considered to be normal human beings and start associating with each other forming not only communities but relationships with those of the same likeness.
The Birth of the Humanoid
Inevitably romantic relationships will form in these communities which could result in new humanoid species. It is not too difficult to foresee that due to the mixing of DNA strings by geno parents, that these new humanoid species can develop different logic and thinking to ourselves. They very possibly could hold different values or intelligence to us. It is very possible that dependent on the geno therapies that were taken by the parent of these new breeds, that some may be more intellectually advanced, whilst other might revert back to the savage or dumb species.
The Great Divide
If the above mentioned theories were to manifest, then we will most certainly see a dramatic separation between extreme species. This will happen primarily due to the new cultures that will develop with different logic and values to ourselves and other species. It is my theories that it will be during this divide that we will see the greatest efforts of space exploration within these communities, and the technology will be passed on and used by both the more intelligent and the lesser minded species including us pure bloods (un treated). The reason I suspect that space exploration will only be truly commercially explored in this time, Is due to the level of intelligence us and these species may have attained by then.
New Worlds
Due to progressive geno therapy advancements by that time (maybe before), it may be very possible to see that we and other species may be able to survive without oxygen. Instead, primarily these other species may be able to alter their genetic make up to adjust to the foreign climates and gasses of the outer planets, so that nearly any planet can be occupied or seized for habitation. New world will be occupied by whichever race, because quite simply many species will not be able to be tolerate of each other and the earth will simply not be able to sustain all of us.
Cyborg V Humanoid
Because mechanics is something most humans can understand and associate to, I suspect that we will see some mechanical integration of this sort into our bodies. Perhaps these will be primarily attachments and in some cases implants that will either assist or entertain us. Although at first this integration will be revolutionary to us, but I suspect this sort of enhancement will soon enough be second to geno evolution. Whilst machinery can and will perform many vital functions, only those small micro machines we’ve all heard about will operate in our internal systems, giving way to the more and much more capable biotech evolution.
So in essence I suspect that although the idea of the cyborg is one that will take place, I suspect that this sort of technology will not last and ultimately be replaced by more natural treatments.
The Pure Bloods and our place in the Future
I will refer to any human regarded as normal by our regular standards today as pure bloods. Needless to say I do foresee that there will be species much more intelligent that we would be at that time. I suspect that we will for a time be seen by many of these new races as the Gods. Having said this however I do also suspect that although we as pure bloods will make great advancements, that many species will see us as inferior and seek to exploit us in which ever ways we can be exploited. Just as the humanoid species, we too will be explorers and colonise parts of the universe, but as pure bloods we will be much more reliant on mechanical technology, for even if some or all of us were to heavily exploit the geno world. We may still genetically, be inferior to those humanoid who are breeding like of like.
