Later on, I&amp;#39;ll be able to direct non-sentient robots to keep me running. Still later, I&amp;#39;ll be a machine completely and will direct the same non-sentient robots to keep me going. But I hate being powerless to a physician. Then just scan for evolving life, or just do math. Maybe stumble upon a dark plannet. I&amp;#39;m actually hoping faster than light communication is physically impossible. If I really need to expand my jupiter brain or need fuel, the nearest star should be harvestable. If a singularity is a few decades away, it really doesn&amp;#39;t matter if I throw away some extra trash! It&amp;#39;s not strictly a rich versus poor thing either--you can pay extra for renewable energy for example in my area (United States). Those are just static 16-byte numbers, though. HP just came out with 4-megabit+ chip however! These are wireless read/write over shorter distances. That would be cool to implant.
