I want physicians out of my life.

One of the first things I want to do is upload knowledge of medical problems that may occur to me. Later on, I'll be able to direct non-sentient robots to keep me running. Still later, I'll be a machine completely and will direct the same non-sentient robots to keep me going. But I hate being powerless to a physician. This is one of many services we will no longer need--perhaps not as obvious as not needing lawyers though!

They are kind of like the middle men between us and the BigPharma drug pushers - not that their aren't good ones out there - but even they are so limited by the financial and political/religious powers that they cannot act upon their conscience.

Are you anti-abortion? Or anti stem-cell? Or anti-"Morning After"? If you are any of these, my view of you will drop precipitously.

I know drugs are manufactured in a complex process, but that will improve all the time. Soon we can do it ourselves--remember the bonus is that they will all be custom drugs!
